Catholic Campaign for Human Development
CCHD addresses the root causes of domestic poverty through promotion, education and allocation of local resources. CCHD is funded through a special collection usually conducted in November. CCHD supports community-controlled, self-help organizations that focus on breaking the cycle of poverty in their communities. The CCHD Board vets CCHD grant applications and provides recommendations on funding. If you are interested in serving as a CCHD board member or would like to apply for a CCHD grant, contact the Human Rights Office.
